Lachine Canal Dock Event, Peel Basin, District Griffin
The effervescence of Griffintown is undeniable. Trendy restaurants are opening at an impressive rate with one more advanced than the other in terms of concept. The same goes for exhibition and show rooms. But now we are witnessing the concept of all concepts. An idea we have already come up with for events related to District Griffin, which is, let us not forget, one of the largest real estate projects with a perfect location in Griffintown.
A concept that we thought impossible given the cost and its incompatibility with the many regulations of the fire department, the city of Montreal and Parks Canada which manage the Lachine Canal. But now, Simon Lebrun, developer has obtained all permissions for work to begin as of this summer. A pontoon, with a length of 24 meters and a width of 11 meters will be located on the Peel Basin just before one of the lots of District Griffin offering front row seats to various shows & events that will accommodate the floating stage .
